Hockey Helps the Homeless Photos!

Ottawa Mission Food Services Training Program graduation which saw 6 previously homeless men and women trained as chefs for 8 months. All six now have jobs in either restaurants, bars or catering businesses. Hockey Helps the Homeless sponsored the program last year.

Hockey Helps the Homeless Heads to Edmonton and Winnipeg!

Hockey Helps the Homeless is pleased to announce that we will be hosting events in Edmonton and Winnipeg in 2013. On September 7th, 2013 the inaugural Edmonton event will take place at the Terwillegar Rec Center. On November 29th 2013, Hockey Helps the Homeless will host it's inaugural event in Winnipeg. Location to be determined.

Edmonton Mayor, Stephen Mandel speaks at the Press Conference in Edmonton. Hockey Helps the Homeless will launch it's first ever event in Edmonton on September 7th, 2013.

March 6, 2013

We're headed to Edmonton! Join us on September 7, 2013 at the beautiful Terwillegar Rec Centre. Registration opens May 1, 2013. Stay tuned for details.

Annick Boucher from the Ottawa Mission representing Hockey Helps the Homeless on the TV Rogers show EntreNous.

December 5th, 2012

Bailey Bram, Vicki Bendus and Laura McIntosh - members of the CWHL Brampton Hockey Team - led a practice for the Aurora Atom BB team on December 4th, 2012. The Aurora Atom BB sold the most tickets for the 2012 Toronto Event Showcase Game (NHL Alumni vs CWHL All-Stars) and enjoyed a practice led by the Pros as well as a meet and greet after the on ice session.
