Dagenais joined the Fighting Sioux in autumn 2008 and appeared in all 36 games. She registered 18 points (fifth highest in Sioux rookie history), while scoring four power play goals. In a game versus the Maine Black Bears women's ice hockey program on October 3, 2008, Dagenais scored her first career NCAA goal. The following day (also against Maine), she earned her first career NCAA assist. Her first two goal game came in a victory over the Union Dutchwomen on October 25, 2008.
 

In her sophomore season, Dagenais participated in 34 matches. Her ten goals were a career high, while leading all Fighting Sioux skaters. The nine assists that she logged tied for second among her teammates. Of her ten goals, one was a game winning tally, while the other tallies were scored on the power play.
 

During the 2010-11 campaign, Dagenais logged a career high 20 points. Her 11 assists were also a career high. Of her nine goals, one was on the power play and two were unassisted. From October 10 until October 16, Dagenais had a three game goal scoring streak (of which two goals were game winning scores). Her 25th career goal came in a contest versus WCHA opponent Minnesota Duluth (on December 11, 2010). Her .205 shooting percentage led all Fighting Sioux skaters.
