NHL & CWHL Alumni Partnership

In 2000, Hockey Helps the Homeless developed a partnership with the NHL Alumni and the NHLPA which has been key to engaging the support of local Alumni members. Since then, over 100 former NHL stars have played alongside our tournament participants.

We are proud to announce a new partnership with the Toronto Maple Leafs NHL Alumni Association. Our relationship will prove invaluable as we work together to bring a truly once-in-a-lifetime hockey experience to our Toronto "Mega Event" participants. We will continue to focus on cultivating stronger partnerships with the local Alumni heads and committees with the goal of building exciting new events that will benefit both Hockey Helps the Homeless and the Alumni organizations.

Earlier this year, we also established a new partnership with the Canadian Women`s Hockey League – CWHL. Thanks to this new collaboration, we'll be hosting our first ever Women`s Tournament alongside our annual Men`s Tournament on November 18, 2011 at the Magna Centre in Newmarket. This will be the first of many more women's' tournaments to come as we aggressively expand into womens' hockey.
