President and CEO - Gary Scullion

Gary brings extensive leadership experience to Hockey Helps The Homeless including over 25 years in the consumer packed goods industry working with large, global companies such as Cadbury, PepsiCo and Coca-Cola. Having spent the last 10 years in senior executive roles in both Canada and the US, Gary’s most recent role was with Cadbury North America as General Manager, Canada.

Gary is the co-founder of what was initially called Hockey for the Homeless and was responsible for leading the organization’s expansion into the Quebec market in 2003. Upon his return from the US in 2007, Gary sparked a vision to take Hockey Helps The Homeless across Canada. Today, Hockey Helps The Homeless operates in all 7 Canadian NHL cities , with more locations on the way. In March 2011, Gary made the decision to retire from corporate life so that he could devote all of his energy, passion and experience to the organization in his new role as President and CEO.

Director of Marketing - Marsha McFadgen

Marsha brings over 19 years of marketing and
communications experience to Hockey Helps the Homeless working with large, global companies including Cadbury and Nestle.  Her last 13 years were spent in senior marketing roles with Cadbury, providing her with a solid platform of experience in corporate strategy and brand management.  Prior to this she held senior roles in the advertising industry, most notably at Maclaren McCann. 

Marsha has a passion for the homeless cause and is thrilled to be part of such a fantastic organization.  She currently resides in Toronto, Ontario with her husband and 3 children.

Director of Operations - Michael Coughlin

Born and raised in Montreal, Michael worked as a Sales Representative for Molson and as a leasing agent with Redbourne Properties for 5 years before making the change to teaching and Lower Canada College in 2007. Michael jumped on board as the second full time Hockey Helps the Homeless employee in September 2010. He had previously been involved in every Montreal tournament since 2004 and sat on the 2006 Montreal organizing committee.

Michael lives in NDG with his wife Vanessa and their dog Charley. Despite being born and raised in Montreal, he is a die-hard Toronto Maple Leafs fan who believes “this is the year.”

Fundraising Manager - Michelle LeDonne

Michelle was born and raised in Chicago but has called Montreal home since 2009.  After graduating with her MA from McGill in 2010, she began her career in communications and fundraising at the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation, before coming on board with Hockey Helps in the Homeless in September 2013.

Michelle is thrilled to be a part of the HHTH family and loves helping our amazing participants with creative ideas for their fundraising.  She currently lives in Montreal's Mile End neighborhood with her wonderful husband, Robin.  Go Hawks.
