Gianni Crivello - Director (Eastern Canada)

Gianni has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. His main expertise was in the development and sales of Personal Trust services in Quebec, services which included Financial Planning, Will and Estate Planning and Discretionary Portfolio Management.

Presently employed at National Bank Financial (Brokerage arm of National Bank) as Manager of Network Growth, Gianni`s current responsibilities include: providing ongoing and up to date information regarding trends, on a national level, in the current competitive landscape, as well as increasing the visibility of the firm and acting as the primary resource and support center to NBF throughout the hiring process of new and seasoned competitive hires (Investment Advisors).

Prior to joining the National Bank Financial in April of 09, Gianni was the Managed Asset and Fee Based Consultant covering Eastern Canada for Scotia Mcleod.

Gianni holds a diploma in Personal Finance as well as having obtained a CIMA (Certified Investment Management Analyst) from Wharton University.

Gianni joined Hockey Helps the Homeless Committee in 2010, and, is the co-founder of the Cure Scleroderma Foundation, established in 2005, in conjunction with his spouse and the Montreal Jewish General Hospital. CSF’s main purpose is to raise funds for the Canadian Scleroderma Research Group, while also raising awareness towards the decease.

He also has been very involved in his local community, having recently held a 3 year mandate as President of a local minor Hockey Association (Hockey Saint-Laurent/Versant Ouest). With the support and co-operation of 125 volunteers, he helped in overseeing the development of over 1000 young Minor Hockey players. He was also Head Coach for the Bantam AA Vipers in 2009 and of the Regional Champion Midget BB Versant Ouest Hurricanes in 2008!

Gianni founded La Ligue de Balle Molle des Camarades de St-Leonard, in 1991, a 10 Team Softball League in St-Leonard Qc., still going strong in 2011.

Furthermore, for his involvement in the community, and that of members of his family, the Crivello family was awarded the family of the year award for Ville Saint-Laurent Qc. in 2006.
